Practice History
The Malone family's connection with accounting in Dundalk goes back to 1950, when Jim Malone opened his practice on Clanbrassil Street. It was a different era, but the fundamentals were the same: know your clients, understand their businesses, and give them advice they can trust.
Paddy founded his own practice in 1989, after a decade of experience that included qualifying with Arthur Andersen and building a deep understanding of Irish tax law and business regulation. He subsequently purchased a share in a Drogheda practice, extending his reach across the full length of County Louth.
In 1996, Paddy merged his practice with his father Jim's long-established Dundalk firm, bringing the Malone name back together under one roof. He has been the principal of Malone & Co. ever since, building it into the full-service chartered accountancy practice it is today.
Seventy-five years of the Malone family serving Dundalk businesses. That is a track record that speaks for itself.
